For VERIZON users:
Best solution if you don't want to disable the HTC dialer (g-sensor mute, ear to phone sensor, data dormant/bluetooth icons, and volume control) is to call *611 and ask them to change the default ring time from 15 seconds to 30 seconds. If you get someone that doesn't understand ask for a higher-up. Verizon was able to do this 12/24/8
Doesn't fix the problem, but will help with missed calls from the ridiculous ring delay..
