well, the phone was probably like "hey, i need that", and since you renamed it, it was like "yeah, that's not there anymore, so i'll make another", so it made another.. and now you have two. you could delete the one, and rename the other back to the way it was? what harm could be done? i dunno, but there's files in there, they're just hidden.
