well when i charge off the usb i get about 2 more hours charge then when i charge it off the ac adapter. And on my old 6800 my first battery I alwayes charged off the ac adapter and withen 6 month it would not hold a charge. The replacement batt I charged off the usb port on my pc alwayes and it still works on the phone which I gave to my employee and its going on a year and a half now.

But if I am proven to be wrong then so be it but from alwayes using rechargable batts for years I have found that the faster you charge them the faster they die.
