Eliminated 99.9 percent of the noise that I was hearing. Well worth the $15. One other thing that was causing me issues was my graphic equalizer was on and that made the audio sound horrible (its labeled audio booster in the program files)

That is the same one I use and works perfectly elimating the noise. Howerver I have noticed that it does lower my bass response a little.
