Greets,

OK, out of sheer morbid curiousity I tried once again to update my verizon xv6700 radio using windows Vista. Unfortunately I got more of the same.

Remembering to make sure I went into bootloader everytime prevented me from having to do a complete AKU reload this time. The symptoms were the same this time, I thought I'd provide some better details and see if anyone else has made it by my lock spot.

Windows Vista Business Edition, Windows Mobile Device Center. I tried using Microsoft's USB native driver. I tried using the HTC USB sync driver, I'm using the Vista RUU utility found in another thread. I've tried disabling USB altogether but the result is the same. After APACnoID utility tried to detect my device it shows the ROM summary screen and it's blank. Clicking UPGRADE just leads to the "This utility is not designed for your device, please use the appropriate utility" blah blah.

What burns me is that Helmi's Kitchen has NO problems upgrading AKU on this same phone on windows Vista. I tried taking radio.nbf, renaming it nk.nbf and tossing it over the nk.nbf file that the kithen creates but that only leads to the application telling me "invalid ROM file"

I've got a process dump this time to review, but I appreciate feedback if you'd had some of these same issues.

Thanks!
