I have not been billed by Sprint, my phone still works, and the guy I purchased the phone from - celldep0t - has now 1400+ rating and very few negatives. He still "sells" Diamonds like Angelina Jolie collects children.
At this point, I'm not going to make a claim with eBay or PayPal. If Sprint or Asurian (or whoever is getting ripped off) wants to pursue this, then fine. But the disinterest shown by Sprint demonstrates that they don't really care how these phones are leaking out. Eventually, Sprint is going to lose the ability to shut these phones off through neglect. I have yet to see anyone who stated in any of these 226 posts that Sprint has shut them down or turned the phone off. I am not going to worry about this any further.

There was an earlier thread saying that dmilton (same guy I got mine from) was a supplier to celldep0t and that is when they had issues. It definitely is the hot phone and people are going to take advantage in some cases. It helps that we keep each other informed of situations like these and are able to minimize the potential damage.
