Since IE allows the use of .gif's I was able to place animation on my theme and the hyperlinks just pointed to whatever program or file I wanted to open. Couldn't we setup WM6-6.1 to auto open our custom webpage with our theme upon startup?

There are Flash-based themes out there ... check out
FreeStyl (needs Flash Lite 2 installed). It's a lot like iFonz, but IMO, I find iFonz a better alternative theme.
