Also I did rec a refurbished phone from asurion. For those of you who rec new ones, consider yourself lucky i guess. I specifically asked if I would rec a refurb and was told yes.
EDIT: they told me it was a refurb. I actually have a new TP. I did ##778#

i wasn't aware that any refurbs were in existance yet. they told me there wasn't any at the time i put in my claim (two weeks ago today). but by now, who knows.
