Re: Is there such a thing as a perfect Touch Pro?

@ scrapmaker

I think most people around here now that you aren't/weren't satisfied with the TP. On one hand, I understand where you are coming from about some of the problems that SOME people may see. Why can't a phone that is over $700 work out of the box? I don't like how people who "deal" with it are automatically labeled HTC fan boys people who complain about the phone are "whiners." We are all entitled to our opinions.

On one hand, people who frequent this forum are PPC geekers for the most part. They want to tweak/modify their phones to make it work better and make it their own. Of course there are going to be problems. If it's to much for someone to deal with, why not just pick another phone?

The people on this board are geekers because they like modifying their phones. If we didn't, then we wouldn't be visiting this website and probably be using a phone that works out of the box, ie a crackberry or something.

Over time, some people won't be intereted in tweaking every little thing on their phone and will want something that "just works." Heck, I just recently ditched windows and bought a Mac because I was tired of dealing with windoze and viruses and adware. I use my Mac and it just works, the end.

But the appeal of getting a PPC is to have the ability to modify things on the phone. Are there problems, of course. But it seems like every little thing is a "deal breaker" and you don't want to compromise. Your looking for something "perfect." What in this world IS perfect? What is 100% efficient? I'm glad you finally realized that this phone just wasn't for you. It just seemed like you were really unhappy with the phone. It's over now, why keep nitpicking the phone?

If you don't have anything to contribute to the TP, why keep posting? I'm not trying to tell you what to do or anything, it's a free country. But most of the people come to the forums for help or to give help for those who need it. I just don't see what good comes from threads like these? So you can spread the word about how crappy the phone is and everyone will return the phone and HTC will realize what a failure the phone is and recall it? Some people ARE happy with the phone. I just wish you would give it a rest with your displeasure of the TP.
