Re: Is there such a thing as a perfect Touch Pro?

The normal user is not. Even a business/power user that needs the phone to work is not going to opt for this phone. I would be surprised if ANY IT department picks up this device as their main WM choice.

All I know is all the problems that people said "were not a big deal," don't exist in any way, shape, or form, on my original CDMA Touch.

I feel like I dodged a bullet, because now I can focus on the X1a, Treo Pro, or perhaps the Omnia.... all of which supposedly have score MUCH higher scores on build-quality and reliability--and battery life. (The Treo is still not branded yet, so I can't make TOO many judgements, but it still looks solid, also Palm's standards seem to be higher.)

All in all... I can say "WHEW!" If I was stuck in a 2-year with the Pro, in it's current form, I'd definitely have to break the contract...
finally! u returned the pro and went back to ur old phone. i was wondering how many u were going to go thru b4 finally realizing it's not for u. no offense (seriously), but it's annoying hearing the same people complain about the same stuff over and over and over and over and over. sorry to burst ur bubble tho, MOST are happy with their Pros and would not want to go back to their old phones, so i have no idea where u get this notion that a regular user wouldnt want it. maybe to help rationalize y it didnt work for u? there are unhappy people, like with any new product, but the majority r happy. i have multiple pros.. and i dont have sensitivity issues, my keyboard is evenly lit, it doesnt try to open unless i slide it open, my stylus sensor still works, hard buttons are straight, chrome isn't chipping, phone doesn't get hot unless i use wifirouter or gps for an extended amount of time (same as my old phone), tf3d is not sluggish at all, etc... now i understand there are a lot with some minor flaws, but u seemed to overexaggerate EVERYTHING. i'll give u the charging while hot thing tho, if heat was an issue for u.

i will be surprised if u are happy with any new phone that comes out. u say u don't have the issues on ur touch that u had on the pro, but i bet there was a long laundry list of other complaints for ur touch. it's hard to believe that u went thru so many pros and still couldnt find one that survived ur standards. would i be wrong to assume ur just naturally a picky person?

nothing in this world is perfect, goodluck.
