I'm Nick, developer for this application.
You are completely right about the first beta: It sucks
. It was more of a tech demo than anything and barely shares any ressemblance with the upcoming beta. This time, all important features are added, all those launch errors were fixed, all resolutions are supported and it has a back button! There's no shiny graphics yet so the ugly white and blue interface is still there but even it was improved with support for all resolutions.
