I guess what I am saying is that when I go from Apache 20755 build to the Touch Pro stock build, screen scrolling should be faster, not slower. load times should be faster, not slower. I did a lot of cooking with the apache and had a pretty solid zippy device at the 20755 build (using BuildOS). But I don't even want to risk warranty voiding / bricking the pro device if 1. the speed gain isn't better than 20% over stock, and 2. new bugs get introduced.
I dont get it. You tweaked the Apache to get the best performanceand now comparing it to a bloated untweaked carrier os on the TP? If you flashed your Apache as much as it sounds like then you should know it is pretty much inpossible to brick a phone unless you do something stupid, hence the frustrated replies you are getting. It took me about 30 rom flashes until I got NueRom3 to finally make the Mogul snappy and productive. Ive now got stock Alltel Tp with a lot of manual tweaking and other than thw way I had Opera mini on the Mogul (TP Vga Opera mini will eventually be better) the tp to the Mogul is like the choice between eating a steak dinner to a steaming pile of crap.
