Re: New Sprint Touch Pro will not update to any ROM
Thats awesome, I am glad to hear you finally got it working! Now, your on Vista 64 so what I am going to suggest next to get your advanced networking functionality to work may or may not work.
Your flashed so there is no risk involved. Go ahead and enable advanced functionality.
Click your start button on your computer and right click on Computer. Select Properties.
Click Device Manager
Remember that at this point you need to already have Advanced Network Functionality enabled on your phone even though your not getting a true connection.
What you should see at network adapters in device manager that opened up is probably something like Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter. There might be an exclamation mark on it as well.
I want you to right click that and select uninstall. Keep your phone connected during this as well.
Give it about 30 sec or so after it removed it. If it asks anything during the removal such as totally remove driver or something, select yes.
Now at the top of device manager, select Action then Scan for hardware changes.
If all goes well, Vista will detect your phone again and start searching for drivers. It should install this time without fail.
If it does work, you should be able to activesync with advanced functionality enabled and flashing should work well too.
