Verizon, like sprint has a fairly low allowed file size, like 250 -300kb. If you took a picture with a fairly low amount of detail and color, the image size will be reduced because of the lack of colors in the image, increasing the chances of delivery.
BTW, I was told if you can uninstall the Touch Pro/Diamond standard PM app, it will disable the flag that causes TF3D to intercept the message before it gets to anyother application. Still waiting on the details on how to perform the uninstall.

Install the update cab, it will uninstall the Picture Mail from Sprint, then it will try to install the new one. Cancel the install of the new one. Voila.
