I imagine I'll have what I'd call a decent Alpha by the end of the Christmas break. I have off work for a bit after the 24th so I'll have time to really focus on the details. At the moment no, I wouldn't call it more stable than WM by far, but even with all of the extra debug garbage in the kernel it's very quick and responsive.
