from my knowledge, sources say that tomtom will be implementing a light sensor based system in their next software that automatically switches day/night views. As for the break down, i think it might take a long time to type in, but with the stupid "distraction" and cell phone ban being put into effect it doesnt matter cuz u should "technically" stop and park before u put in an address
