I'm in IL, but my BB guy had to "call it in"... basically he called someone, provided the ESN and account info, and they gave him back the details he needed regarding my plan, etc. Apparently their in-store system can't access SERO accounts.
I've confirmed that i'm still on SERO, etc. and everything worked fine within an hour of activation. No issues. Hope that helps some!
