Ok, this is an interesting problem - and a difficult one to search because of all the thosands of "GPS" posts.

I have a mogul on sprint withthe stock HTC WM 6.1 ROM and the 3.42.50 radio. I noticed recently that my location service icon has a slash through it indicating that location service is turned off. If I go into phone settings, it is turned on. A soft reset will correct it but the next time I make a call it turns off again.

I have an Airave at home and I didn't expect the location service on my phone to work at home since the airave has its own gps but I noticed the problem whenever I'm out of my house.
