I own neither, but am a reviewer and have extensively used and reviewed both units. The Storm was a huge letdown; in my opinion the theory was solid but execution horribly flawed. The BlackBerry OS has always been good but never great, and the Storm doesn't improve on anything in this regard. Most importantly, though, as has been brought up the keyboard is awful. Typing on it is a workout, and on top of that it is far from accurate. The media aspects of the Storm are very good, but they do not make up for the shortcomings.

The Diamond is one of the better devices I've ever used. It overcomes many of the shortcomings of Windows Mobile with a UI that is both user-friendly and functional. TouchFlo3D is up there with the iPhone interface, and you could make a strong argument that it is better. It has speed issues at times, but that is inherent to WinMo. It is a very powerful device that blends design and functionality wonderfully.
