Even though it will slow my 6800 down even further, I am an admitted sucker for eye candy. I cannot wait for this to come down the pike. I know the guys at 4WM had an alpha floating around last week, but haven't stayed up on things. I'd guess it will be only a matter of time before we have something workable, hardware differences or not.
