I think there are hardware differences/problems that are causing this.

My friend still has my old Apache and it doesn't ever freeze. Alarms every morning.
I agree. You do not fix a problem with a band-aide fix or duct tape. You resolve the root problem.

For some of us turning the phone off is not an option. I work in the medical field and often I am "On-Call" at night and weekends.

I'm sure if your loved one pa$$ed away because the On-Call person had their phone turned off to keep it from locking up ... you'd not be too happy about it.

It's simple ... do whatever solution works for you, but keep focused on fixing the problem so the phone works the way it should. like all my others did.

Ps. Why does p a s s e d translate to p***** ... ? is it because it has the word a$$ in it?
