I was refueling my boat at the gas station and it has a small overflow vent near the swim deck on the back of the boat. I had my phone out of the way of the vent but had a friend jump up in the boat and check the gauge to see how full it was(since I was pissed we were nearing 250 bucks and still pumping on that fill up when gas was $4/gallon).. as he was telling me his response the pump clicked full and I noticed my phone was moved to right next to the vent and it was soaked in gasoline(along with keys and wallet).. A miracle that the only casulty was the camera button itself(thankfully the enter on the dpad takes a picture still)
No insurance and the keyboard had a strong smell of gas when you would open it for like 3 months. There was no way I was making up some story of how the phone broke and it wasnt my fault... haha
havent searched on xda. When i installed the standard alltel wm6.1 through activesync the RUU i downloaded from the htc website installed perfectly. Is that RUU different then one say DCD or Neurom would have? I'm actually looking at trying this rom =
