Total n00b question probably, but I'm wondering if there's any point in attempting to upgrade the radio on my CDMA Vogue phone?

I've been searching around for hours and can't find much about it for the Vogue. On my Wizard it made a HUGE difference in missed/dropped calls in addition to signal quality, etc.
