I'm not trying to be a jerk, and I would like to be able to provide some level of relief, but it is impossible to successfully troubleshoot a problem and resolve the issue, when I'm not sure that you understand what I am saying and I'm also not sure if you're completely sure of what you are saying in response.
I can see where having a borked phone would cause some level of irritation. If the phone is STILL Freezing, as you appeared to state earlier in the thread, then hard-reset to get back to ground zero.
Or, you might try to completely and thoroughly describe the situation as it presently stands and we can have a fresh start at trying to resolve the issue.

the phone is not frozen it functions the verizon animation just freezes and like I stated earlier the only thing in the registry that is changed is the welcomehead.96 and when I use the verizon animation as a gif file to replace the existing png file for the welcomehead.96 it freezes mid animation and then the phone starts as normal I just want the animation to go all the way through. So I'm sorry that you think that I am stupid but I am actually not and there is nothing in the registry labeled startup animation nor is there anything in my advance config menu with that name. the only registry entry I do have is in the windows folder and it is labeled splash screen and that is where I found the welcomehead.96 files.....so like I said I am just as confused as you are but I'm not stupid.
