Iris Browser updated/improved, iphone based browser

Just wanted to let you guys know that Iris Browser was recently updated on December 6th. It says on their blog that released a new beta specifically to fix problems with Diamond and TouchPro devices regarding freeze ups. It is working much better. I put it behind Opera still but it's definitely worth taking a look at. I based off the same technology used for the safari browser on the iphone. It's not a quick as Skyfire or Opera mini rendering pages, but it's also not rendering pages server side. It is a full mobile browser just like Opera Mobile. Give it a whirl.

It can be found at www.torchmobile.com

edit: interesting browser but in the end, still not there. I tried 3 sites and on the third (espn.go.com) it crashed, reopened it and it freezed. so I guess the freezes are still there. maybe it will perform better in mobile view but I was in desktop mode.
