i been wit sprint for a while, i believe in certain parts of mexico(northern part) u shud b able to send/recv...however...its not included in ur text plan(doesnt matter if u have unlimited text)...a while back i had a classmate move outa da country..sprint charged me per text..and i was in coverage da whole time..i dont kno the per text rate now..but thats what u wud b charged for int'l texting....but sprint cus care wud prolly kno more details
