This configuration worked for a week until I installed Windows Live (Search and Hotmail, No IM - downloaded directly from microsoft). Now the long press brings up Hotmail in the Windows Live application. I have tried re-mapping the button using AEBPlus again, but nothing works.

Is there a registry key that WinLive creates or screws up? Is there another way to get Voice Command linked back to the send key long press? For now I have it mapped to the long press on volume up key (so it feels similar to my old Apache), But I'd like to get MS Windows Live off my send key.
Go to your settings tab-->buttons and then you can reassign the send key( green button) to the voice command. Hope this helps
