Just an FYI, a hard reset will turn your phone back into what it was based on the rom you currently have flashed. So all reg edits will be rmeoved. A soft reset will just restart your phone but your settings will not change or be removed unless you changed them before the soft reset.
You sounded a bit confused. If you knew this already then just ignore me.
Also, verify that the reg hacks you are doing are exactly correct. One misstype and it won't work.
