I've tried this one and it changes the operator name until I soft reset, then it goes back to SprintPCS. I have tried waiting for a few minutes after making the reg change with the phone off and also tried it with it on, same result. |
You cannot permanently change any value in "HKLM\System\State" These are all state based and are read from the phone on boot up. They are not permanent values. They are just used by apps to get the current "State" of the phone.
