Re: Windows Mobile 6.0 (WM6.0) on Touch Pro

There was a profound reason WM5.0 was ported to the Mogul: The Mogul's RAM was incredibly limited, and it was originally built around the lower requirements of WM5.0. Installing WM5.0 allowed it to perform much faster and more reliably in the manner the hardware was designed for. It gave less memory errors and ran a lot more smoothly.

WM6.0 provides no such advantages over 6.1. 6.1 runs more smoothly and more reliably while improving functionality. So I don't expect to see any big pushes to switch over.

Out of curiosity, did you try any of the early builds of 6.1 on your Titan, or did you wait for the official release? Because the later official one was the one that seemed to break a bunch of apps. Earlier ones had no real compatibility issues. Just kind of curious. But yes, unfortunately, replacing the apps is the only logical solution as nobody's going to invest time in downgrading to 6.0 on this phone.
