It doesnt matter because everyone has a right to voice their opinion or else there would be no need for any forum at all. There is good and there is bad in a forum, and you have to deal with that (besides the fact there are FAR FAR less complaining threads than even the silly fanboy "i love my pro" threads). If the whiners about the complainers dont like it, then there are PLENTY of other threads to read- simply skip this one and move on. But last time I checked the forum rules every single member has a right to voice their opinion and posting it.

I for one, although dont think a recall will ever happen, think that the hardware issues its been having are appalling for an almost $600 electronic device. I went through 5 before I returned it, and ive NEVER been through more than 1 because of issues out of the box in all my years owning smartphones. Id be very curious in a poll of how many people have been though, becaues Id bet dollars to mouth the overall average is over 2 (at least 1 swap due to issues). Would you honestly accept that if you bought a desktop of laptop computer? an lcd tv? Theyre all in the relative same price range, so why is it ok for these phones? Theres no reason to fall into the philosophy that because you CAN swap you should have to and its acceptable to be accustomed to that as the norm.

No ones even talking the little software or WM gripes, were talking the major hardware issues this thing has had- bad earpieces, raised dpads, chrome issues, squeeky battery cover, loose sliders. theres no excuse- you would change youre tune if this was a BMW and everything squeaked and was loose, and this IS supposed to be the luxury vehicle of phones, the top of the line. Theres no reason to let HTC off the hook easy and tell people to just "deal with it."
