I have Eclipse AVN 5500 (I don't think Eclipse even offers this model anymore, and I doubt it. I'm sure they have newer, cheaper, and better model by now though) in my car, and watching sling on 6.5" LCD is pretty darn impressive.

Too funny! My son and I were stuck in traffic last night and he started to watch the Sharks game on the TP/Sling but I couldn't see it

. At that point the light bulb went on and I remembered about the video out on the TP and was curious if I could actually pump the picture from the phone to my Pioneer Avic D3 stereo (6.5" screen, video input). Thanks for the confirmation! I'm jazzed now....
Question though. Is it possible to charge the phone throught the cars DC power while sending the video out? I think they use the same port, right? I remember the phone came with some sort of extra dongle output (still in the box) does that have any application here?
