Re: NexVision's VzW TP ROM

I've got some constructive feedback for you Nex. I love your ROM soo much and did everything I could to make it work on my Sprint Touch Pro on Verizon. I flashed it three different times and had the following problems each time.

If you flash the ROM on your device after having the Verizon leaked ROM on it, all settings stay. If you do a hard reset after flashing the ROM on your device, all Sprint settings return to the default state.

GPS and a-GPS work on this ROM on the Sprint Touch Pro running on Verizon as long as you install the GPS settings CAB and set up a-GPS in QPST!

After the first flash before a hard reset, data works great. After a hard reset, you have to change the MSL, change all the Sprint settings, and write the keys in 1xrtt mode or however you choose to write the keys.

SPB Backup 2.0 is not completely compatable with the device upgrade mode as it is on other ROMs. Everytime you try to use it (and I tried three different backups) it freezes about half-way through.

Some of the SPB programs have problems instaling on the ROM. Sometimes they will install and sometimes they won't. When they don't install, the install bar goes all the way to the end and freezes. It will stay that way for at least over an hour. When this happened, I performed a Soft Reset and a hard reset was performed by the device. This happened to me two different times and when I performed a soft reset, a hard reset was performed both times.

I am in no way complaining at all Nex, as I appreciate everything you do for the Pocket PC community! I am simply just giving you feedback for revision 2 if you decide to use it. There may not even be anything wrong with your ROM, maybe you intended for it to only be run on the XV6850. The ROM was excellent though, and the TouchFlo looks simply amazing! I am more than willing to try revision 2, 3, 4, and more until you have the final version of your ROM. Keep 'em coming buddy!
