That suggestion worked, to a point. I went into the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder and sure enough there were a bunch of dupes. I hit "select all" and then "delete" to attempt to make the folder empty as you suggest. Most of the programs did delete but then it hit some Windows system files (Help, Bubble Breaker etc.) and warned that deleting them would make them unusable. I hit cancel.
As a test I did go back in there and deleted the "Help" file to see if just the dupe would go away but no, the whole help file appears to be deleted from the device.
The All Programs list still shows some dupes, basically everything listed in the Programs folder that is a system file. Those appear to be the 'real' files, do you know where to find and delete the duplicate entries to these? Thanks again.
