yes you can change the welcomehead.96.png by renameing the one in windows to welcomehead.96.old then copying the one that you want to windows folder but must be named welcomhead.96.png.
On another note I just experienced the problem with the voicemails not showing up and will be experimenting with phone alarm since I never had this problem with Phone alarm. My problem was when phone was charging and calls came in and voicemails were left. More later tonight after I finish New rom.
