The hack works however, if you decide to use the built-in task manager and use the "close all applications button", it will kill TouchFlo3D as it runs as an individual task called "Start." You can fix this by adding a registry value
HKCU\Software\HTC\TaskManager\ExclusiveList\User
Type = String
ValueName = Start[TABCHARACTER]\Windows\_mpman.exe
Value = Manila
to get a tab character just copy it from one of your other exclusions, if you don't have one... make one via the gui for the time being, and just rename the ValueName keeping the tab character in place.
