Basically what I said earlier, my steps are as follow after setting up that ad hoc joint:
I launch Pie and close it
I turn on Wifi/ make sure that ad-hoc only is selected in the bottom,not access point,immediately I see that the ad-hoc connection is showing connected,close that out
And go to WIMOWIFIROUTER and click connect..5 seconds or 10 later lappy is happy and sees the same ad-hoc connection and all is good. No disconnect or heating prob hours at a time...If you continue to have prob let me know I will be able to get you some more detailed info... |
Thanks! This appears to work, at least on wmwifirouter it now says ready. I'll try to connect it to my notebook when I get home.
