Instead of using the Modem just fire up the internet sharing app. Pick you poison - USB or Bluetooth- click connect and then connect to your computer. Once you plug in the USB you'll see a new network connection form, and you can surf. No need to mess with any modem settings at all.

I tried that utility, for some reason the computer I'm on didn't like the USB network connection. I was hoping to get the other one working, but I might have to try to get the internet sharing working with my PC. Anybody know what kind of virtual NIC it's making? Has anyone else needed to load a driver for it on XP?
