Did you read the title of the thread? And some of the posts? This is a known issue, if you have confirmation on VC will not hear it, hence will not finalize placing the call.
Some users have e-mailed MS and are looking for a fix. It also seems to work for other users although they have not replied as whether they were using confirmation or not.
