I would like to ask the programming heavy weights of this site to weigh in on the possibility of being able to design a custom user interface for Windows Mobile.. I am thinking something along the lines of Touch Flo, but designed by and created for PPC Geeks..
I first pitched the idea of creating a Custom Operating System for our phones in
this thread... I was thinking a base redesign from the kernel up.. I really think it could be possible... I personally have NO coding skills, and am only starting to develop an understanding of how a PPC works.. But if people can create code for their own custom ROM's, or create ways to create new icon's, anything should be possible.. I may not be able to code, but I would be willing to donate time and effort into testing, and I know monetary contributions are always willingly accepted...
Now an
idea has been pitched for a custom UI that would be easier to design and create than an OS... Now I ask you... What is your opinion, comments, suggestions on this? Is it possible to create such an endeavor? I thank you for your time, effort and consideration in this proposed idea..
