I tried this on my Diamond and the good news is that it works, but only for the calender OR the contacts- not both. Since the PI exe file is the same for both (as far as I can tell) once you work with one of them, the other defaults back.  |
1. The cab is designed for the Touch PRO only. I have no Diamond to test with and there are too many subtle differences to confirm for sure. If you want to try it out and let us know, awesome, but it may or may not result in the need for a hard reset if you don't take the advice in question 4.
2. If you read my post, you'll note that I was very specific in stating that it ONLY modifies the behavior of the calendar based on the original hack suggestion, so YES it is the expected behavior of the hack. The appointments on the home screen are ONLY available with the Outlook calendar.
3. You don't need a screenshot... it looks like the default Home screen when there are no appointments... it says "Calendar" and when you tap on it, it opens PI.
4. Good question. It should, but I would strongly recommend making a backup of the "Manila.exe" file in your phone's \Windows folder before installing... JUST IN CASE.
