wait for the blackberry bold or treo 800w... VZW is raping all of our phones right now so that they are crap compared to their "equivalents" on other networks. I want to jump ship but I have 6 lines and the fees make it not worth it to leave, plus the reception is good.
My apache is horrible. I need to restart it about 2 times a day, it often just wont turn back on so it crashes and I don't find out for 2 hours or more, I can't wait for a new phone. I just want anything that is actually reliable. But at the same time I like all the things I can do on this phone, the websites I can visit that other phones have trouble with, etc.
The 6800 is basically the same unreliable device just with wireless G and rev A (I believe) capabilities. You definitely need to get a new phone, I am unsure if the 6800 is gonna be the best bet though. I am in the same boat as you and I really wouldn't consider it.
