Things to do:

1. Turn off Beam under Settings>Connections>Beam
2. if using active sync, only sync every hour especially if you are syncing work email and you are at work. no point getting duplicate emails.
3. Under power settings, set the screen to turn off after 10 seconds.
4. install the battery fix cab. its listed in the diamond threads so do a search and you should find it.

turning active sync off completely is an option as well if you don't require push email. You can set it to manually sync when you choose to do so. for me, Active Sync was drawing the most from the battery. You should get over 15 hours of battery life doing these things if not more. I have gone 12 hrs with my battery still at 60% with moderate data/text/voice usage. You should not expect multiple days without charging the device. Be sure to charge it at night and let it charge all night. Try not the charge it until you get down to 15% or so but its not critical. One last thing, the battery sometimes indicates it is running out but if you soft reset, it willl show more battery life. not sure why but this does occur. Hope this helps.
