Re: No Radio present...

Well here is my opinion and I am slightly in agreement with PDAPhoneJunkie on the part where the 67 doesnt (cant be) need to be unlocked. However, here is where we will give different views. When you get or have a 67 that says NONE in red when it boots up you have hardware failure issues and there is nothing you can do about it. I personally have seen two of them and I know PRL wasnt an issue. I tried to load radio drivers but how can you load hardware drivers when the device doesnt see the radio hardware to begin with. We all know the answer to that one. I took radio files off a working 67 and copied over to the one with no radio and didnt help. I reflashed OEM ROMs and got no where. I even went as fas as cloning a working ROM on a fully working 67 and loaded the clone on the non-radio working 67 and got no where. In the end, it was no more than a PDA. No cell, no data, no WiFi. Just a PDA and that is all your friend has. IMO if the ebay auction doesnt describe this and IF it was not working properly when he got it then he needs to ask for a refund or file a claim.
