An alternate option would be to check out A_C's S2U2 here
http://www.ac-s2.com/ you can set it up to display up to 6 or 7 appointments when your screen is locked. I'll post a screenshot of mine in just a minute.
Edit: I didn't set the times on 2 of those (they're in and out jobs) so pay no attention to that. Oh and if they make no sense, its carpet lingo lol.
