Which SPC app did you download? SPB is a software company and they make many different apps. The default function of the red phone key is to take you back to the Today screen. There is a registry hack located
here to change the function of the red end key so that when you press it it shuts off the screen and locks the device, just like every palm device before the 800w has done.
