I'm curious why the screen resolution is so low in this thing??

My Sisters son has an iphone & we where doing A/B comparisons between that & my TouchPro over Thanksgiving. I have always been quite jealous of the big beautiful screen of the iphone in the past, but after seeing the clearly obvious resolution difference (he was surprised too) between the two screens I will stick with what I have.

I still like the size of his screen, but mine absolutely looks better & it is a quite noticeable difference with them running side by side displaying the exact same content.
