For anybody who might be experiencing "chronic bleeding/fading" like I was try the following:

1. Bring some water to a boil.
2. Lower the heat to about medium so the water stops boiling.
3. Put your dyed cover in the water for a few minutes. You'll notice the water start to turn a black/purple color
4. After about 3-5 minutes remove and rinse.

This worked great for me. Like I said, I was having problems with my cover bleeding onto my hands if they were sweaty/greasy/wet. Now it is perfect. I didn't really have to buff it after this treatment. Just wiped it down for a minute or two.
