I really wish there was some other competition out there - Alltel doesn't serve this market and I don't trust AT&T's network (dropped calls are their specialty). Here's to hoping that I will never have to contact Sprint's CS ever again, but I just can't stay with VZW after this bonehead move.

I have had 8 Mogul refurbs that either died within two weeks or did not work right out of the box from the refurb center; two new ones - one worked great until I flashed it to the GPS rom (February?) and then it upped and died leading to my refurb hell - the other is on my desk awaiting shipment back to Sprint since they no longer have much service in my area.
To get the first refurb took 22 phone calls and three months plus a few more days.
Each refurb after that was a biweekly trip to the service center (great guys there) but how the hell can they do business when the refurbs are customer damaged from water, soda, drops, throws and other insanity ((probably from dealing with Sprint CS...

)) and are dried out and just re-shipped to see if some dumb schmuck will just take one? Memory slots not working, touch screens not working...blah blah blah...
It has cost me in my time alone over $2,500 just getting a phone to work with Sprint. Ya gotta figure driving time, reloading and testing, and then adding back all of the custom stuff I loaded.
Good luck when you leave Verizon! (As much as I hate locked down phones.)
