Well, scratch this request. I was going to edit the post but I figured I'd post up what I did to resolve this. All I needed to do was change my dialer back to the default. I had the standard WM6 dialer set up for faster ringing on incoming calls. Temporarily switching back allowed me to enter that service mode.
